Workshop "Writing Pugwash Histories. From Hiroshima and Nagasaki to Kabul and Gaza" (10-12 May 2012) University of Vienna

From Mai 10 to 12 2012 the Institute for Contemporary History of the University Vienna hosted a workshop on the Pugwash movements history. The keynote speech was given by Matthew Evangelista, Professor of History and Political Science in the Department of Government at Cornell University, on the topic "How Scientists Helped End the Cold War: Approaches to Pugwash History".
